Gave them my cancellation letter, but I was asked to modify it since I was not specific why I want to cancel it. So guys, be sure to indicate the main reason you want to cancel the policy to save time. 4. I asked for a Statement of Account (SOA), but I was told to come back after 2 hours (6PM).When I was able to get the SOA (make sure the status is Cancelled), I was told to wait until 30-45 days for the money to be credited back to me. I don''t have my credit card bill yet. So I have to talk to them if it is possible not to pay the fee that I supposed to pay PPIC so there is no need to credit it back to me. My experience with them was very traumatic and stressful. But in fairness, the customer service rep was the only pleasant person in that place. I felt I am not safe while I was inside the room. They even asked my friend to stay outside. You just need to be firm since they will do everything to convince you to continue. They even asked me if maybe I can just downgrade the policy, but I declined. I told them I don''t want to get any of their services. You must tell them also that based on the contract, you have a 15-day no obligation period, in which at any time, if you are dissatisfied, you can discontinue. I can consider this experience as maybe, a blessing in disguise. I am the type of person that can be easily persuaded. I learned my lessons the hard way. From now on, I will not make any big decisions within just a few minutes. I hope this will not happen anymore. I admit I have my own faults. I didn''t think about it very carefully. Their sales agents are very good. We have to learn how to say no. I know, some might say I am stupid, well I am, but this thought me to stand on my own and be firm on something.
